Nominations Are Welcome But Not Required
We offer the nomination process because great work is sometimes recognized by others before we recognize it ourselves. Anyone may nominate work that meets the eligibility requirements.
When work is nominated, the nominee--whether an individual, team, or organization--receives an email generated from your online nomination form. The email has a link and invites them to complete The Sigourney Award application as any other applicant to ensure equity and transparency. You and your nominee will be notified in November if your their work has been selected.
Key Nomination Steps:
Nominations submitted generate an invitation asking your nominee to apply using the link to the application.
1. Create a Sigourney Award account and add your contact information.
2. Add the name of your nominee and select their category of work (individual, organization or team).
3. Complete the nomination form and submit.
Nominee Action Steps:
Once your nominee receives the nomination email, they click on the link to begin the application, review your nomination, and then follow the same process as any other applicant.
